About Us: Who Builds LeadTrapper and Why
LeadTrapper is a Windows app for people who sell to businesses. It finds companies on Google Maps, Instagram and Facebook, cleans and checks their phone numbers, and sends WhatsApp messages from your own computer. It costs $50 a year for everything, and every new user gets a 14-day free trial.
Why it exists
The founder started building LeadTrapper after watching sales people in the Gulf spend three to four hours copying business names and phone numbers from Google Maps before they could start selling. LeadTrapper is the result: a search instead of a morning of copying, kept on one computer for one flat yearly price.
What the app does
- Finds businesses. The Google Maps scraper searches by business type and city, and the Instagram lead scraper reads public business profiles.
- Checks the numbers. The WhatsApp Number Filter cleans a messy list and checks each number against WhatsApp before you send.
- Sends the messages. The WhatsApp bulk sender personalises each message and works out the delays with the delay calculator.
- Keeps your data with you. The leads you collect and the messages you write stay on your own computer. The privacy policy lists the small amount that does reach us.
Free tools and extensions
You can try part of it without buying anything. The free WhatsApp link generator and QR code maker and the WhatsApp number formatter run in your browser and send nothing to us. There are also free browser extensions for Chrome, Edge and Firefox, listed on the free tools page.
How we write about it
